2026 - Second Quarter CFHLA Security & Safety Council Award Honoree - Sabri Akim, Evermore Orlando Resort

The CFHLA Security & Safety Council proudly recognized Sabri Akim, Assistant Director of Safety & Security at Evermore Orlando Resort, as the recipient of the 2026 Security & Safety Council Service Award.

With more than 15 years of experience in hospitality safety and security, Sabri demonstrated exceptional leadership, a proactive approach to risk management, and an unwavering commitment to service. Since joining Evermore Orlando Resort during its development, he played a pivotal role in building and advancing security operations across the resort’s expansive and complex 1,500-acre destination.

Through mentorship, training, and scalable security programs, Sabri helped foster a culture of accountability, preparedness, and operational excellence. He also cultivated strong partnerships with local law enforcement, fire rescue, emergency management, and other public safety agencies to strengthen the resort’s readiness and response capabilities.

Sabri’s service-driven approach to safety and security contributed to an exceptional guest experience, with guest satisfaction scores for the arrival process and feelings of safety and security consistently remaining in the mid-90% range since the resort opened in January 2024.
