Tremaine Williams

Meet Tremaine Williams, a Food and Beverage Supervisor at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando International Drive Icon Park, and our next member of the CFHLA Leadership Mentoring Program, Class II.

Tremaine first began his career in culinary/hospitality when he attended Florida State University. While in Tallahassee, he became a small group tour guide at the university and a line chef at The Olive Garden restaurant. Tremaine is also a highly self- motivated individual, an optimist that thrives on challenges, leads by example, and readily adapts to change. This is why the hospitality industry became such a natural fit for Tremaine to be successful.

Since then, Tremaine’s passion for culinary expression and food design has become apparent every day. He also believes in going above and beyond in both food preparation and catering for any groups (from small to large), including a recent experience with a weekend banquet party. Tremaine enjoys seeing the smiles and appreciation of guests when they have an excellent meal and outstanding service, while they are traveling away from home.

On this occasion, Tremaine and his team went the extra mile to deliver a fantastic food and beverage presentation for this particular group. At the conclusion of the weekend banquet party, the group insisted on leaving generous tips for the entire staff as a token of their deep appreciation for their outstanding work. While this level of service and food quality was no different from other previous groups, the gesture meant so much to him and his entire team.

As a part of the Leadership Mentoring Program, Tremaine has had the opportunity to meet several new professionals from across the Central Florida hospitality industry, that he wouldn’t normally interact with. Plus, Tremaine recommends the program because he’s gained valuable advice from his mentors including, “Stay positive, build strong contacts and relationships, and always be 100% you!”

Moving forward, Tremaine hopes to continue to advance his career within the hospitality industry – at either at a hotel or possibly opening his own restaurant - and continuing to provide guests with great quality food and beverage options, as well as impeccable service.
